The US Securities and Exchange Commission has accepted an application to be registered with the ProShares strategy ETF, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

According to an October 15 SEC statement, the agency has listed the ProShares Trusts Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds, which provide access to the crypto asset with futures contracts. In addition, ProShares has released an effective prospectus following the change, which states that the ETF could be launched as early as October 18th.

The assets will be listed on NYSE Arca if the application is formally approved by the SEC. Bloomberg analyst James Seyfarth reports that the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF will be included in the BITO token at 95 basis points.

The list of potential ProShares came after the company filed an ETF (ETH) withdrawal application with the SEC in August. At the time, ProShares said it did not sell any securities associated with the potential offering.
