Crypto.com cryptocurrency exchange on Friday will launch a non-refundable token platform with contributions from leading artists, athletes and musicians.
In today’s announcement, Crypto.com said that it will offer a code-free platform, or NFT, with exclusive content from renowned artists and musicians. Everyone – not just Crypto.com users – will be able to buy, trade and sell NFTs featuring works of art by Snoop Dogg, Boy George, Clarence Malyuta with Lionel Richie, Mr. Brainwash, OPUS, BossLogic, Axel Mansour, KCamp, KLOUD and Aston. Martin Cognizant Formula One and others.
“From live streaming to augmented reality, virtual reality and audio streaming, I have always loved exploring how new technology can change the way my music is enjoyed,” said Mansour. “Technology is at its best when it helps us communicate with each other in innovative ways, and NFT is a very exciting way to forge closer ties with supporters.”
Joe Conyers III, former Strategy Director at Downtown Music Holdings in New York, will lead the new Crypto .com project. Some works by popular artists and musicians will be discontinued on March 26, as the platform allows users to pay with over 20 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and Dogecoin (DOGE).
